About Us – Our Story, Tradition & Turkish Pizza Craft

Mangal Pide was born from a simple idea: serve the food we grew up loving, with the respect it deserves. Our name says it all—pide baked the Turkish way, over heat you can hear and feel. From day one in Stoke Newington, our wood-fired oven and charcoal grill have been the heart of the kitchen.

We keep things honest: dough made daily, marinades built on tradition, and flavours that stand on their own. Whether you’re here for a classic kıymalı pide or a mixed grill straight off the mangal, you’ll taste the craft in every bite.

Dough is mixed each morning, rested patiently, and hand-stretched to order. It’s simple on purpose, because simplicity done well is unforgettable.
